Freecurve 'Van Gough' & 'Rembrandt'
TheĀ Freecurve stairlift provides a safe, smooth and comfortable ride up even the most complicated of curved staircases. It consists of a single tubular track, which is less than 8 cm in diameter. Discreet feet located neatly underneath the rail provide stability and support. The stairlift itself uses industry standard reliable batteries which charge automatically at the end of each journey. These powerful batteries drive the stairlift smoothly and quietly even in a power cut. For external radius bends there is the 'Van Gough' and the 'Rembrandt' caters for staircases where an internal design is required.

'Turn and go' for very narrow curved staircases
'Turn and Go' has been specially developed to help those customers who have a very narrow staircase that turns corners. Once seated your seat will turn automatically so that your back faces the stairs, not the wall or handrail, during travel and thereby move your knees away from clashes with the wall or banister. It can also be used to help clients who have difficulty bending their knees to fit into the available star width and is compatible with the Handicare Van Gogh or Rembrandt so long as there is room on the top landing to turn and park the seat. Folding up your stairlift
When your stairlift is not being used you can fold it up to maximise free space in your hallway. The footplate, armrests and seat can be folded up to increase available space leaving the staircase as clear as possible for other users.
Swivelling your FreecurveĀ seat
The Freecurve is fitted with a Ā manual swivel function as standard so that you alight onto the landing safely.Ā The Van Gogh,Ā Classic and the Elegance seats can have auto-swivel functions as an optional extra.
Safety as standard with a Freecurve stairlift
All Central Mobility stairlifts have safety sensors on the carriage and footrest. These are designed to stop the lift if it meets any obstruction. Once stopped it can only be moved away from the obstruction. Your stairlift will also come with a seat belt as standard for additional peace of mind.
Easy toĀ control
The Freecurve uses a simple joystick for control from the seat but the lift can be ācalledā or āsentā up or down the stairs when ever itās needed by using the remote controls, making it easy for multiple users to control the stairlift.

With various levels of comfort available as well as the 'Active' seat to help you transfer. There is also a good selection of colours to pick from so it can be tailored to suit your decor.
Basic Seat
A simple but stylish design. The Basic seat represents affordable convenience:Ā The perfect combination of ergonomic design and sitting comfort. The Basic seat comes in a range of colours and a choice of wear-resistant fabric or cream-coloured leather-grain finish.
Classic seat
Out best selling Classic seatĀ is extremely comfortable. The seat has been designed together with physiotherapists and occupational therapists. The Classic seat comes in a luxurious, but easy to clean, leather-grain finish.
Elegance seat
The Elegance seat is lightly padded, finished in faux leather and has a stylish upholstery with a luxurious feel. The upholsteryās protective layer means that the stairlift seat is both durable and easy to clean. The armrests can be adjusted outwards to create a wider seat.
Alliance seat
The Allianceās āretroā styling delivery brings a classic yet contemporary feel to your stairlift. Its combination of real wood a choice of three leather look cushioned upholstery options can be chosen to complement your dĆ©cor and rail colour which is also available in a choice of three standard colours.
Active seat
Now available for the Alliance and Elegance: the Active Seat. This seat is similar to a lift and tilt chair, except it is for your stairlift. Like with a lift and tilt chair, you are supported whenever you stand up and sit down. Just one way in which the Freecurve Van Gough makes people's lives easier!
Choose the colour of your rail
Your Freecurve Stairlift rail is also available in a choice of colours. You can choose from White, Cream or Brown in standard finishes or any RAL colour from the colour chart at an additional cost.
