With a maximum weight limit of 160kg the MediTek D160 has numerous customisable options allowing it fit all straight staircases and making the MediTek lift just right for you and your home.
All New MediTek D160 Stairlifts Come With:
Simple controls
The MediTek D160 straight stairlift is operated with an easy to use control joystick which is located conveniently in the end of the arm. Simply push and hold in the direction of travel to move and then let go to stop. When not required the stairlift can be parked more conveniently using the remote controls supplied.
When not required
All MediTek D160 straight stairlifts have isolation circuits. There is a standard key switch fitted underneath the arm to prevent unauthorised use and to isolate the Stairlift temporarily when not in use, a convenient holding switch is fitted into the opposite arm.
With safety in mind
MediTek stairlifts come with built in safety circuits consisting of pressure sensitive safety edges that stop the Stairlift instantly upon contact with an obstruction. A familiar retractable lap belt is fitted as standard to every lift for added reassurance.
Self diagnostics
A unique feature of the MediTek D160 straight stairlift is the carriage cover. It is an active safety circuit as well as an information portal. A state of the art LCD screen shows the actual current status of the Stairlift and any faults or alerts should you get any.
Intelligent charging
All MediTek D160 stairlifts have ICCC technology. An industry leading stairlift battery charging system that remains the best on the market. This unique and yet essential feature was designed by MediTek to prolong battery life by ensuring the stairlift batteries are always on charge regardless of where the lift is parked.
Fully auto hinged rail
With the MediTek D160 access is not a problem. If you have a doorway across the bottom of your stairs then a fully automatic powered hinged rail is available in two different weight limits up to 25st. This will satisfyingly raise itself out of the way as you go up the stairs and then gently lower itself when you decide to come down again. It can also be operated using the remote controls as a parking feature.
Pick a colour
The D160 ‘Deluxe’ comes in a choice of luxurious fireproof and washable upholstery and rail colours to compliment your home.
Each colour has been hand picked for it's practicability as well as shade. If you cannot see a colour that you like then other colours can be provided at an additional cost.
