Stairlift Removal
Today we did a Stairlift removal on an Acorn straight Stairlift from an upstairs flat in Coventry, Warwickshire. I was contacted by a family member who informed me that it was no longer needed. He found our website which lists removals as just one of the Stairlift services that we provide. Normally we buy unwanted used stairlifts if they are less than 5 years old. They must be in good working order with a service history. Although the Acorn Stairlift was in very good condition, it was 10 years old. This is beyond our flexible 5 year cut off point so we made a small charge to remove it.
The stairlift removal only took around 20 minutes. The guy who met me there was such a nice guy that we ended up chatting for longer than the actual removal took. He was from Bournemouth and as I used to live on the Isle of Wight we got talking about coastal life…
Recycling
Acorn Stairlifts won’t supply anybody with the grey plastics on their Stairlifts. This Acorn chair lift will be recycled for parts to help keep our rental Stairlifts in good working order.
