A common thing we see on a daily basis are sun damaged and faded plastic covers on stairlifts. When a stairlift is parked at the bottom of the stairs it is usually in front of a front door where the sun beams through. Today I went to a Brooks straight stairlift in a lovely old Victorian house to carry out a Leamington Spa stairlift repair. The lady had recently had a new wooden floor fitted and needed the stairlift rail raising off the floor to allow for the different thickness.
